I'm Looking At It On Ebay... Is It Worth 20 Bucks??? I Went To The Mac Counter And They Said It Was Such A Great Color To Have... And Since I Am More Of A Paints Person Than A S/s Person They Told Me Blueboy Is Great... But The Cheapest I Can Find It Online Is Actually 20 Plus 3 Buck Shipping... So 23 Bucks. Is It Worth It?

I'm not sure of the history of this particular paint you want , you know if it's discontinued or not , but Paints usually are $15.00 at MAC but if what you want is discontinued it seems like you have no choice but to pay a little more for it. but before you commit to paying $23.00 call around to other MAC stores and counters to see if they have that color you want still around in their inventory, sometimes it happens. Hope this helps.

There is this place called the cosmetic store, they sell discontinued MAC products and they tend to be a bit cheaper, they may be worth a try but I don't know if you have one in your area. however if it's been a really long time since it got discontinued they may not have it either. I dunno, maybe an extra couple of bucks isn't so bad for a paint that your sure to love...

It hasn't been discontinued for very long, so chances are it'd still be lurking around those heavenly places you all call CCOs. A guess. I'm a bit surprised that they chose to discontinue it; but then again, it's fairly similar to Freshwater v/p e/s. Colour-wise, rather than texture-wise.

I don't know - I think if you know you love MAC paints, and you know you'd like a bright blue color - $23.00 isn't a lot to pay for a discontinued item (compared to prices for Parrot e/s or All-Girl pigment, e.g.)

So, as someone who's regretted not purchasing hard-to-find items, I vote for buying it - as long as reviews and such indicate it's worth it for you. It's a good idea to call around to see if there are any leftovers floating around at stores - but $8 extra could really be worth it if you like it, and I'm sure it's an item that could be swap-able or sale-able again.
