Blush for a C40/C5? NARS Love Joy or MAC?

Hi,

I was considering NARS LoveJoy blush -- would this be too light on me? It looks quite similar to Laguna bronzer, which I have (and love!) already. I was looking for a natural/ glow-y shade.
How would MAC's Love Joy suit a C40?
If anyone has any MAC blush recs for me, that'd be great! I'm looking for either a natural warm brown flush or a coral-y/ peachy-y colour. Shimmer is no problem. Thank you in davance for any replies!

Hey hun...sorry to say I can't speak from experience, as I'm quite pale, but generally, I would say that if NARS LoveJoy is similar to something you have already, you might want to venture into something else...
Improvise mineralize blush is coral-y, and I tend to love the mineralize blushes because they're very buildable, so I would think the color would look lovely on you...and since it's a mineralize, it'll give you a nice glow, too. You could also try Cheek & Cheerful or Fad-Dabulous. I haven't tried them on, because I go for pinker blushes, but they looked like they'd be really beautiful colors if coral/peach/brown is the way you prefer to go.

GL hun, hth!

PS, I think MAC's Love Joy is pretty too, but if it's very similar to Laguna, I'd go in a different direction, if only for the variety.

I have no experience with Nars blush Love Joy. But for your second question, I just did a bride who is C40 and she wanted a golden look. I used Peaches blush and the golden shimmer side of Light Over Dark (Grand Duo Collection) on her upper cheek bones. I love Light Over Dark, both sides! But I didn't want so much shimmer for her Big Day

My mom is C40 and for a corally color, she likes Gingerly blush applied lightly.

Actually i have a Q for you lol... my bride that was C40 uses NC42 Studio Fix compact and it's not yellow enough -- it's very noticeably pink on her. I wanted to get her a replacement as a gift. Should I get her C40, or C5? (I don't know what C5 looks like

If it helps, MUFE High Def #153 looks good on her too! Thank you!! <3

Thanks to you both!
Sorry my reply is delayed, I'll look into the Mineralize blush, thank you.

Wifey806: I use a C40 in Studio Fix powder foundation and a C5 in face & body. Both are a perfect match.
The only product I use in NC42 is Mineralize Satinfinish -- this is not too pink on me, it's a tad too yellow. Perhaps my complexion is more neutral than your friend's? Interesting that she found C40 a match but an NC colour too pink -- in my experience the NC's are quite yellow.

Sorry I can't be of much help. Oh -- one suggestion -- try Bobbi Brown's foundations. Very yellow, possibly more so than MAC's.
