i just got ladyblush b/c in the mail and i love it. but it's depotted. i don't have/use very many different blushes so i think one palette full will suffice. is there any kind of drugstore brand palette that will fit mac blushes? if not, can i buy a mac one at the counter or do i have to hit up a freestanding?

Q1:
Not necessarily DS brand (are there any?) but ANY OTHER BRAND that is less expensive than the MAC? It would be fine if I just needed one, then bought one or two at a time as I needed them, but my blush and blushcreme* collection is OUTTA control and I need...well, WAAAY more than 2...

*Q2:
Speaking of blushcremes, they ARE the same size as blushes, aren't they? Also, is it unwise to depot b/c of the product meltdown factor?

Q3:
In a related topic to both Q1 and Q2, are there any palettes out there that fit CCB's?
And like the b/c's, is it unwise to depot b/c of possible melting?

Q4:
Is it an optical illusion, or are the Hello Kitty Mystery Powders and Monograms Powders SMALLER than blush pans?
Are pressed powders LARGER than blush pans?
If so, then, pressed powder refills can only go in their single pans?

*phew*

That ought to keep a few of you busy. I always love the thorough answers I get on Specktra!

(by the way, I DID Google, Yahoo, and search on this site...and this is the thread that was spit back at me...maybe I didn't do a really good key word search - so I apologize if ALL these questions have been asked before - just point me to the right links, and I'll leave y'all alone)

well the blush creams are the same size as powder ones. however i''d use a palette for each of them. because otherwise you get powder stuck in the cream and it makes a mess! as for ccb's they're too small to go in a blush palette but you could still depot them and stick a magnet on that back... you'd just have a little extra room!

you can depot blushcremes, but ya gotta be careful if you use a heating method, cuz those puppies meltdown in no time (i used the flatiron and it melted and the pan tipped a bit and it poured out

).

use a non-heat method for these bad boys.

i too keep my blushcremes seperate from my powder blushes.

^^Erine....I know this is kind of off the subject but how do you like the blushcreme? Do you recommend them for oily skin types? Which colors are good for most skintones? I really want to try these but I'm scared it may break me out or it'll be too heavy.

^^^they're nice, but i prefer powder blushes. the reasons? there's more colour choices and they're easier to blend. but, blushcremes look more natural. however, they do give a dewy look, so if you're oily you'll want to layer a transparent powder over it to take away the sheen.

of the blushcremes, my faves are lilicent and brit wit.
