Bone to pick with Clarity and Naval

So I bought a bunch of shadows to try different looks with, from different youtubers. But I didn't buy these 2 to go together. But until yesterday, I had never used these 2, so I did them together. As it looked good in my head, I had to really pack on these 2 colors, which did turn out really cool. But even using UDPP, they faded within minutes, so I looked like I had a bruises on my lids or something. It feels very chalky...

Does anyone else have problems like this with these 2 colors? Or what should I do next time?

Is it naval blue pigment?

I am a user of both clarity and naval blue pigment.. I am not sure but I probably have used them both together (clarity on lids, naval blue on crease).
They both were fine and until today I still have a great feeling about them.

I do not use UDPP, as a base I always use painterly pp. My lids are the oily kind.

Naval is a navy in color, reg MAC shadow in the pan...

I should try something other than the UDPP then, I guess I'll have to get a paint pot finally!

Oh finally someone with the same oily lids as me. So do you find that your makeup lasts better with Painterly PP than with UDPP? It doesn't crease? Because I have oily lids and UDPP kinda works pretty good but I don't like it because it makes my eye makeup hard to blend. Does Painterly PP really work at keeping it from creasing?

I have never tried UDPP but I really love painterly.. especially since it's matte, really a cure to any oily skin.. Nope, it does not crease on me.. I can't live without painterly.. even when I put other paint pots, I have to use painterly as a base first.. maybe it's just me

I also got this info from a MAC artist that had oily lids as well and she said, "Your lids are oily just like mine. Paint Pots are the best base 'cause it does not crease.." and she's so right
