Bright Colored Lips!!

I always see the FOTD's and some people can pull off some awesome lip colors like bright pink or red. Anyway, I am NC25, blonde hair with freckles. Anytime I try to wear a pink lipstick, I always feel like it doesn't suit me. What pink/lighter colors would you recommend?

Also, what type of eyeshadow colors go well with the lighter/brighter lip colors? TIA!!

Typically, you only want one focal point on the face. So, if you want to have bright lips it is usually better to go with a more neutral eyeshadow and vice versa.

I think Lollipop Loving sounds like it might look good on you since you have freckles I can imagine a pretty pinkish but orangey lipstick on you looking really nice.

i agree with the neutral eyes. you might want to try something with a little colour to get used to it before you for brights. we have similar colouring, and i really like sandy b. it's not too bright, but still a healthy bit of colour.

you might want to try some reds, too, like port red or rockocco (if you can find it) that's my favourite!

Try a bright gloss. I had wanted to wear bright pink, but lipsticks in that color just look weird on me. So I use glosses instead.

And I agree with above, bright lips go well with neutral eyeshadow. I do black liner on top and mascara.
