lol

Seriously-I have tried every bronzer out there. NARS Laguna, NARS Casino, MAC's, Guerlins, EL's, Lancomes- you name it I've tried it. Even L'Oreals and D/S brands.

BUT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM turns ORANGE ON ME! I seriously turn oompah Loompah orange and begin to get the strange Paris Hilton/ Lindsay Lohan/ Jessica Simpson glow going on.

All I want is to look nice and tan! HELP!

What am I doing wrong? I apply it with a light hand!

I'm a fan of Ulta's bronzer( shades of bronze), it is one of the few that don't turn on me. If you want a mac rec, i'd say rose d'or bronzing stick if you can still find it. It is a pinkish bronzer and doesn't turn at all, pain though because it was Le.

if you're that fed up with bronzers, like me, try looking for compact powders that are the brown shade you are looking for. Just make sure the coverage is light or transluscent-ish (lol) and to use a light hand. The only bronzer I have ever tried that gets me the least orange is Benefit Hoola, and even still it was a little too orange for my liking. anyway hth!

What about something like Too Faced snow bunny bronzer? Because it has pink and gold in it, you shouldn't turn orange. Also, Jane makes a really cheap rip off of the snow bunny with pink, gold, white and brown. It doesn't turn orange on me at all. In fact, for the small amount of money I paid for it, it is one of my favorite bronzers. I'll go look for link

If you check out janecosmetics.com they have a pic of the mosaic bronzer on the first page, but I couldn't find one of the snow bunny copy. They are worth checking out

I like to use Bare Essential's Warmth. It's not really meant as a bronzer, but I use a very tiny bit and it works well. It's brown, not orange, and you can adjust how much you want to put on.

Other than that, if you want a tan, why not try Jergens natural glow FACE Daily Moisturizer. I sometimes use the body one and i like the results. Plus, it only takes like 2 applications to work (sometimes one)

when mac's natural MSFs were limited edition last summer with avante gold, i used the medium MSF as a bronzer (i'm an NC15-20) and it worked wonderfully - didn't turn orange at all. :]

The least orange bronzer is Benefit Hoola in my experience, and I've tried a lot! It's a cool toned brown so there's less orange tones in it. I also suggest getting a darker shade of powder foundation, or using a matte blush/eyeshadow that's in a bronzer color. MAC has a few I believe.

update... I just went to Long's Drugs yesterday and saw that L'Oreal has released TrueMatch liquid bronzers, in different tones like Warm, Cool, or Neutral. I haven't tried them, but I plan to.

I love too faced snow bunny bronzer. It makes you glow but it's not too strong if you apply it right. It is not a pure bronzer though because it does have a pink, white and gold strips. Its really nice

Glad to see someone else has this problem! I'm an NW15 in Studio fix fluid and trace gold blush in most light turns a weird orangy colour and CARGO in medium with shimmer and that did the same thing...

My trick is using MAC Blot Powders as bronzer. They are very matte and sheer and buildable. If you would take a light in the regular powder, buy medium dark and so on. These are the most natural looking bronzers, I can use them on men as well because of the glitter free factor. If you want shimmer, you can always put an MSF on top.

I like Bloom's Aloha bronzing powder, which is slightly pinky. I can even use this as a rosey-bronze blush although I prefer a brighter pink on my cheeks.
