browbone vs highlighting?

To me, browbone, is everything from the crease to the eyebrow. Highlighting is usually right under the brow and sometimes the inner tearduct.

^^ Yup.
I usually go with a super light color (most of the time it's Tony & Tina's cosmetic powder in whatever the lightest shade is) from crease to brow to blend the crease color so there's not such a harsh line, then a light color with a bit more punch (Shroom, Vanilla pigment) right under the brow, so it shows up a bit more.

Browbone is the area right underneath your eyebrow (where the bone is). In most practical makeup applications you "highlight" that area because it's a high plain of your face. People also highlight the high plains of their cheek bones, noses etc . . .
