Brown smokey

Some ya'll may remember that a couple of days ago I posted an FOTD for a challenge on MySpace. The challenge theme was gold/beige/taupe/neutral/brown/etc eye, and you can see the look I did here.

Well, it had come out a little lighter than I expected, and you couldn't even see a contrast between my lid color, crease color, and highlight color so I decided to totally redo it. I didn't just duplicate the look and work on making it a little better, I completely went another way with it.

So with that said, here it is...

Face
-Benefit Dear John moisturizer
-Smashbox Photo Finish Light primer
-MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW15
-MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NW20
-MAC Studio Fix Powder in N4
-MAC Sculpt and Shape Powder in Lightsweep Shadester
-MAC Nylon e/s (as highlight)
-MAC powder blush in Well Dressed

Eyes
-Browns from this palette...
--6th column; 4th row
--5th column; 4th row
--6th column; 3rd row
--5th column; 2nd row
-MAC Nylon e/s
-Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara
-Wet N Wild black pencil eyeliner
-MAC Carbon e/s (to seal pencil on waterline)
-MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack

That ladies!

Definitely a great palette to have. I originally had purchased it so I could use it on myself for my wedding (because I'm too picky about my makeup to let someone else, even a pro, touch my face lol) but I use it all the time. Such a good investment. Really, all of those palettes are.
