I really like the lips. I think before you invest in lots of MAC makeup, buy one or two eye brushes because those can make the application of your non MAC makeup better. 239 is great for the lid and brow highlight, also with paints. 217 would really help with blending, it fits perfectly into your crease so you can just swish it back and forth. Also maybe try bringing some of the darker colour (black in this case) onto your outer lid like a V.

the colors r nice on you, you may want to blend the black a little more so you wont see the harsh line. and i agree with ruby_soho... mac brushes will def help with the blending... even with cheaper brands!

I have some Essence of Beauty brushes that I got from CVS that are good "median" brushes until you can buy MAC ones if you want to find a cheaper alternative... I sent them to some friends who are obsessed with their MAC brushes, and now they use EOB brushes more than MAC.

Also the Sonia Kashuk pointed blending brush is VERY VERY similar to MAC 224 blending brush so I would check that out, it is a fantastic brush.

I really like those lips. That looks great. I agree with the above posters where the eyes are concerned. I think it would really look great if you brought the dark color out into the outer V and blend, blend, blend.

I think it looks great. Just keep practicing blending. Dont worry! I have problems with it too, haha.

You have pretty skin but the thing that always strikes me about your looks is that the blush color you use doesn't suit you properly. I don't know if I can explain it correctly but it kinda blends too much with your skin? It is also way to close to your lipstick color so instead of enhancing your features, the blush and lipstick sort of make your face look monochomatic. A rosier pink will enhance your skin color without disappearing into it.

You may want to incorporate a third color into your shape to soften that black. An idea may be to take a deeper brown and work that into the crease. Use the black to deepen the outer third and work a highlighter color above the crease to soften the lines of color.

I hope you dont mind the suggestions...

thanks guys..lol

and Jude I DO know what you mean about the blush thing..I guess I'm just afraid of it not being blended enough so I blend it too much..haha I'm always afraid of putting too much on.. but then it gets like too close to the nose or mouth or something and I have like this white ring around my mouth.. I hate that!
