Brush Blending?

What type of brush do you all prefer for blending [powder] eyeshadow once it's applied?
Or, do you even bother with a brush, and just use your finger instead?

i hear the 217 is very popular, but as i don;t have it yet, i use a cheap soft brush from Avon, and use my fingers aswell

Oh, my; you have a separate brush for different areas?
Currently, I'm using a Body Shop blender brush(many many years old), and just wiping it across my entire eye area(upper lid, crease, and browbone) after I'm through applying my color.
This works fine, unless I get carried away and blend everything to the point of muddiness.
I guess I do okay most of the time, because a friend of mine has actually asked me to give her and her daughters eyeshadow application lessons.

What I'm trying to decide is whether I need a fan brush.

217 or 224 (my love) for the crease depending on the look your going for. 217 I usually use to pack the color in and 224 for blending out the harsh lines and making everything look all pretty and soft =D.

i agree with the 224, the soft fibers make it easy to do a fast side to side swiping motion, you can really create the hazey effect this way
