Brush cleanser for spot cleaning?

Sorry, it's four in the morning and I can barely form sentences, so bear with me haha.

Does anybody have any recs for a good brush cleanser to use while spot cleaning? Something that hopefully wont take too long to dry and does a good job of disinfecting/cleaning the brushes...

That's one of the best things about MAC's brush cleanser: you can use it and not only does it clean, it sanitizes and conditions and helps your brushes dry more quickly.

i like BE's quick change. i also took home a bottle of quick brush cleaner from work.

would you just put some on a tissue and swipe the brush across a few times? Or are you supposed to dilute it with water and dip the brush in? I'm not too sure about how you're suppose to use it!

put some on a paper towel and swipe your brush on it till theres no more color showing on the towel. our trainer at basic also said you could quickley dip them in alchohal and it would help them to dry quicker and help sanitize them further.

I like Smashbox brush spray for this, but when I run out, I usually just mix up some MAC brush cleaner and a bit of water and put it in the SB sprayer lol. MAC is cheaper

Cinema Secrets, hands down. It cleans, disinfects, conditions, and dries quickly. Smells good too. The thing that makes this superior to the mac, mufe, and many other brands is that it's not a predominantly alcohol cleanser, so it doesn't make your brushes brittle and dry.

Cinema Secrets is GREAT. I like to pour it into a spray bottle though. Japonesque Parian Spirit is pretty good too.

Do you all spot clean your kabuki brush after every use? I mean, it is a HUGE brush to clean (solution used up fast) and I only use it for mineral foundation and blending. What do you all think?? What will be sufficient? THANKS!

And if you look at the sidebar, there's a button that says "more," and in that section they have the brush cleaner tin can. I use that, too. You basically just pour the cleanser in it, dip your brushes to clean them, etc. and whatever cleanser is left you leave in there and just put the cap on.
