Brush for applying paints/shadesticks....

Yeah hi i hate the 242 brush. Its really coarse, it feels like it's scratching my eyelids. whats a good brush (besides a concealer brush, because i've tried that too...) for applying paints and blending in shadesticks?

For paints i really like the 216 brush.

I use the smashbox 04 brush or my fingers for paints

Shadesticks I just apply directlly.

i usually just use my fingers, or a q-tip. but it's a base, so it doesn't have to be perfect!

For paints I like the 252 which is like the 242 but bigger and softer. For shadesticks, i think fingers are best.

i use my fingers but they're short and fat so it gets everywhere it shouldnt get.

I used the 216 which Sonrisa was using. I was pleased that it got in the inner part of my eyelid quite well. the whole application was much cleaner than using only my fingers.

i either use my fingers or the 239 brush for paints. for shadesticks i just use it straight from the stick, but if u wanna even it out i would use the 239 its pretty soft.

Because I'm so goddamn tiny, I actually use a #228 (or perhaps #226) - the brush MAC repromoted when the new paints came out. Sometimes the #242 is a bit too big for my child-sized features!
