Brushes for aquacolour paints?

Could anybody recommend brushes for use with aqua colours (like kryolan, mac pro, mehron stage bases)? I was just told to buy "Watercolour brushes, but not the rubbish ones with wooden handles" which wasn't exactly useful. I'm guessing synthetic, relatively firm bristles? Would it be a safe bet to just buy whichever are most expensive in Hobbycraft? I don't entirely trust Hobbycraft to be honest though. Could anybody recommend a good brand available in the UK? Haha, I'm clueless when it comes to crafts brushes.

TIA.

I'm sorry I have nothing useful to offer..but I have a question. I've heard a lot about the Aqua Colors. What are they, and where do I find them? Is it something only outside the US?

I have the Kryolan Ultra-Violet Day-Glow palette...it has six colours, and these ones glow under black-lights (waaaay too much fun). They're basically cream eyeshadows that you have to wet slightly to use, and kind of look like a children's watercolour paint set when they're in the palette. They're particularly good as bases for other colours, since the colours are so pigmented. The downside, IMO, is that they are pretty difficult to blend since you use them wet and they eventually dry before you can really blend them together. Also, it can be hard to get the right Aqua Colour to water ratio, so they can come out looking weird if you don't have enough practice. The colours usually come off without staining, and come off very easily (so keep your face out of the rain). There are different kinds of Aqua Colours too, like neon, metallic, etc. Mine just happen to be UV reactive. Yay!

I bought mine online, off Shrinkle on eBay. I live in Canada and I couldn't find them here (not sure if we have them or not...I suck at searching occasionally), but I know you can buy them in the USA and places in Europe. Shrinkle is an American seller so you should have no problem finding them.

Just for general Kryolan reference, so far I have found that

* Navy blue
* Mustard yellow
* Lilac
* Mint green

aqua colours all stain the skin.
