brushes

i get paid $40 for baby sitting, and i want to get some brushes. NOT EXPENSIVE ONES, maybe some that come in a set. Are the brushes that come in a set on ebay ....

like these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/21-pcs-Cosmetic-Make-up-Brush-Set-with-Case-Black-M10_W0QQitemZ9511771042QQcategoryZ21014QQrdZ1QQcmd ZViewItem

or sets similiar to that one.
i really would like to get some high quality brushes but im not willing to pay $25 per brush right at this moment.

Does anyone know if the brushes at Sallys are good??

thanks.

I haven't tried Sally brushes, but feel the texture of the brush and buy one and see how it works out for you. You can check out this site also www.crownbrush.com. I myself have been thinking of buying brushes here, money is the issue right now. Other artist referred this to me & I saw it on another forum. Hope this helps

Some of Sally's brushes are good. I had the powder brush, blush brush and the foundation brush for a few years. After a couple of washes, they weren't soft anymore. I would not repurchase them.

The SK brushes at Target are better quality and cheaper. I would look into those if you are on the budget.

There are a lot of cheap Smashbox brushes on Ebay. I got the #1 for around $15, the #19 for $25 and the foundation brush for $10. The quality is just a notch above drugstore brands.

wow, i think ima go with the sk brushes. are they good quality too? they are much cheaper than what i expected. thanks so much for the recommendation!!

i would suggest trying out the sonia kashuk brushes @ target. they're not very expensive (generally $4 - 5 for one brush) but target also sells sonia kashuk brush sets anywhere between $19.99 and $29.99, so i would definitely check them out.
