Calling all Nars experts

hey guys,

I'm interested in buying a few Nars lip products after hearing much great things about them. I've been using Nars blushes for a few years now but never have tried their lip products. I like my lipstick pigmented and want to try either their matte lipsticks or their matte velvet lip pencils. Which one of the two do you recommend and what are some of everyone's fave colours?

FYI - I like pinky nudes, blue pinks, reds and burgundy. I look horrible in yellow pink, most peachy colours and red corals.

Hey! I'm not really a big fan of Nars lipglosses or the lipsticks. I don't like the smell of their glosses (smells plastics) and I do have 2. Dolce Vita and Chihuahua and I like them both except these are not as sticky as mac and so it doesn't last long as Mac either.

I would TOTALLY recommend the Velvet Matte Lip Pencils though...after trying on a few I love ALL OF THEM! I recently got myself POP LIFE which is a red/orange colour....real gorgeous! You should also check out Sex Machine, Dolce Vita, Bahama, Bell de Jour, and Roman Holiday. I'm lemming all of them and I think I'm soon going to invest all of these babies. =D

I love nars lippies! Yes they don't smell the sweetest but the colors and textures are amazing so it makes up for it. My fave lip colors are Dolce Vita, Viranda, Fast Ride, Kiss & Christina in lipsticks, Belle De Jour, Cafe con Lechce, Red Square & Valkire in the Matte Velvet pencils and I adore Foul Play,
Bloodwork, Harlow, Pillow Talk & Moon Fleet is my fave nars lippie of all time!

I've got to recommend Dolce Vita too...such an amazing color...in either the gloss or lipstick. I find the gloss tends to be a bit more pigmented than the lipstick version, but it's sooo beautiful either way. My mom stole my tube of Dolce Vita gloss, and it looks great on her, too! LOL
