Can anybody rec a tattoo parlour in NYC?

I've decided to get a tattoo next mth when I'm in NY. I've been umming and ahhing over it for mths. Can anybody rec a reputable place to go?

I don't mind if it's in Manhattan, Brooklyn or The Bronx.

If you're recommending it due to personal experience - even better!

only one i know of off hand that i would recommend (not from 1sthand experience but from reading a lot about the owner of the shop, brian decker) is sacred

however, it sounds like you want a tattoo on a walk-in basis, chosen off the wall. in that case, ANYBODY will do, as long as the place isn't filthy.

Sacred, with Brian Decker at the helm, is pretty much the end-all, be-all on the East Coast when it comes to tattoos and piercings. If I was in NYC, I would have absolutely gone there for my VCH.
