Can I ask a question about FOTD

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if you take the pictures yourselves and if so how? Or do you get someone else to take them?

I take the pictures myself by holding the front of my camera towards me.

I was wondering too, cuz all my pictures come out funky! The reason I haven't posted a FOTD yet. Plus, my camera sucks.
