Can I rescue this depotted blush?

Help me, wise people!

I depotted Salsarose blush a while back using a flat iron and it had cracked, so I re-pressed it. It was just slightly cracked rather than shattered so I didn't do a proper grind-it-up-and-mix-it-to-a-paste re-press, but I soaked a cotton pad in rubbing alcohol and re-pressed it that way. I've done this before with blushers and it's been fine. Anyway, it didn't quite stick together and it seemed to have kind of a hard top coating...and eventually it shattered. So I scrabbled together all the pieces, ground them up, and re-pressed it properly. Now it's dried it's gone all weird and piece-y, like a mosaic. It looks completely knackered. Is there anything I can do???

honestly i think i'd give up on repressing it and just use it as a loose powder blush insted. it sounds like you have done everything possible to repress and it's not having any of it

I agree, I think just about the only other thing you could possibly do is if you ground it up again and tried repressing it with a pressing medium instead of just alcohol. How old is this blush?

Sigh - I fear you ladies might be right. Loose powder blush it is...or maybe I could make it into a cream with something....

Ah well, at least I've got a space free in my blush palette. Fleur Power here I come!
