So I was going out to the drugstore/post office today just to find out how much shipping an item to someone would be, and had no intention od buying anything, but ended up getting:

Hello Kitty Bandaids
Softlips Honeydew Melon SPF Lipbalm Stick
Starbucks Tall Sugar Free Vanila Non Fat No Foam Latte
Organic Peanut Butter
Organic Lemon
Organic Almonds
Parmasean Cheese

Does anyone else have this problem LOL! I'll be driving home from school or something and I'll just decide to pop into the drugstore to see if there is anything "good" and I come out with a crap load of stuff I don't even need!

NO! So if I don't want to spend money I don't go anywhere. I went to walmart with the intention of only buying groceries and I ended up with three additional lipglasses bronzer and a body lotion, Like I need any more lotion or gloss... I have a lotion or two or three, on every empty surface in my room..I really can't go anywhere with makeup. But I dont' go to the drugstore often...

Everytime I go to Wal-Mart for serious business like a prescription or soap or something, I end up spending AT LEAST $10 (typically waaaaay more) on random cheap cosmetics that I will probably never use. I really need to stop doing that... How do we stop???

Haha, I do the exact same thing! Wal-Mart is bad news for me when picking up prescriptions. I buy totally random things, that I would NEVER have bought otherwise!!

I seem to be on an organic/natural product kick right now, so I've been eyeing up the Alba Botanicals products lately when I'm grocery shopping, but have so far resisted the urge, although I'm sure I'll give in sooner than later! I've got so many bottles of body lotion laying around right now! My bathroom counter has probably about 50-60 products crammed on the tiny thing, and the cupboard underneath is overflowing with more lotions and potions and cosmetics that I don't even know what is in there anymore! I'm not lloking forward to moving in January when I'm done school!

i can never go into a store that has any form of make-up without buying any, and the worst is going into macy's for anything, cause i always seem to stop at the mac counter and find something mac to buy

I'm trouble when it comes to stores. My friends know if they want someone to go shopping with it's me because I make you feel guilty about neglecting yourself and not buying anything. I decided to stop spending money... on, well everything. I even love going grocery shopping... I decided to start cooking at home more because it saves money on eating out and I still get to shop at a grocery store.... and after a few trips to Williams Sonoma I ended up spending more money on fancy cute kitchen stuff than I would have shopping. It's really bad... I identify entirely with Becky in Confessions of a Shopaholic.

I cannot walk within 100 yards of a Target without going in and buying something, and usually it's more than one thing. I don't know what it is! It's like a voice calls to me from inside the store and says, "Come in, you should buy more razors.....come in, you never know when you may need more toothpaste, and we have this new gimmicky toothpaste on sale...." I usually have to go out of my way to go to my MAC counter, so I always buy something when I go there, of course, but the Target thing is a real mystery.

Yes and no.

It all about the mood I am in...bad mood I won't buy, good mood makes me want to buy.
I go through shopping withdrawls and it's not even about buying something for me. I love to shop for my family too.

I'm kind of the same way, it all depends on my mood & if I even want to mess with stuff. And I'm actually more likely to buy something for DH or the kids...that's a good thing and a bad thing I guess, bad cause there's more of them lol!

Yeah...I always buy random stuff in Target, Walgreens and Walmart. I just bought two Milani glitter/mascara duos (pink and blue) yesterday at Walgreens....
