Can you Pre-order Holiday stuff?

I was reading around some holiday threads and wanted to know if any free-standing store or department store allows you to pre-order items.

Has anyone had luck with this? I know there are a few things I am dying for in the Holiday collection.... any suggetions?

You'll have to check with your local stores/counters, most do.

My Macy's counter will do it for me. They call me when it arrives, I go and pick out what I want, then they box it up for me. The downer is that most places will not let you take it home until the release date.

Who did you guys order from at Saks in Manhattan? I just called and the MA knew what I was talking about but wouldn't let me pre-order.

Same here. I also encountered the same issue with my local counter. No go.

I may add that my local counter said that if they didn't have it in the store then I couldn't pre-order. I wanted to say,"Duh. That's why it's called a PRE-order, Sherlock." Ugh.

Has anyone ever pre-ordered at a MAC in The Bay? I live like 5 mins away from it, and will for sure get their on the release date, but I want to secure my stuff.
