Can't believe I did this

So I bought some stuff at MAC yesterday, I picked up a blot powder and tried it out as soon as I got home. Then I go on mac's site and realize that dumb me could have gotten the CD one. Grrrrrrr. I totally forgot that they came with the blot powder in this collection and that it's the same price. Oh well

I wouldn't sweat it too much...a similar thing happened to me. Catherine came out here yesterday, and i had a look at the compacts - they look much nicer in pictures I think! They felt a bit flimsy to me, and the pattern is pretty but is just printed on there and I'm careless so would have scratched the paint off in about 5 seconds!

Yeah, I agree. It does look cheap but still, it would have looked pretty in my cabinet LOL

If you're going to rebuy it in future when this one is finished then you might aswell buy a Catherine one again now and keep it?

I saw them today but i'm not very impressed, don't really like the pattern personally and they only provide medium shade in it so can't buy it anyway.

I thought I would want one of the beauty powders because the compact looked so pretty in the photos. I wasn't that impressed when I saw them and didn't buy one. The compact seemed pretty flimsy and as someone else has said, the design would soon scratch off.

I had to have one because I liked the print and the packaging. I just keep it in the box (I do that with my MSF's too) and I haven't had any scratching yet. I had never used blot powder before, but I am really impressed with it
