Can't decide if i should cut my hair? or wait..

Hi!

My issue is my BAD haircut i got last august, which left me with a visible layer in my hair. My hair was layered in the back with a RAZOR!! I have thick wavy hair.....so that sucked. Everything I do to it looks bad (as far as coloring, or highlights.....so I was thinking...do I cut it short (beneath my shoulders to reach the layer..or trim it until it evens out to one length?
I want it nice by warm weather, cuz humidity is a bitch, thanks

if you have curly hair, and you're saying you're in a high humid area, I think I would just trim it, at least wait until the weather is nicer. with short curly hair you run the high risk of getting massive frizzies in the weather. Have you thought about going to a salon and telling a stylist your problem and asking if she/he can help you out by blending the line without taking much off the bottom?

A good stylist will be able to blend out the line. Dont go short if you have thick wavy hair unless your prepared to spend a while styling it every morning.
