What is in them? If they are empty I would suggest trying to put them in warm water for a bit and let them soak. If the stuff can't get wet, maybe try using a hairdryer to heat up the plastic a bit? The other option is to put it in the freezer for a while. That might help too. Good luck.

Yeah, you need something that will provide some friction. Try the rubber kitchen gloves you use for washing dishes, if you have them. I use them all the time when I am trying to open jars.

you know the tacky drawer liners? use one of them. Works like a charm for getting stuck jars/bottles/lids open/off

I keep one in the kitchen for just that use. It'd be less dangerous if they're full, less chance of harming whats inside.

take a hammer and smashed it down

OR go to the gym untill you can open it

OR ask your local strong man to open it

Or roll over it with your car

maybe cursing might help too

I've actually got this gizmo (don't ask me the real name) in my kitchen that opens stuck jars. You can set it to however big the jar is (and I checked- it will fit a fluidline) and it clenches the sides to make it easier to open. They might sell it at different kitchen utility stores, but mine looks really old.

Either that or you can do what cyens suggested.

The rubber bands work for me. Just one on the top and one on the bottom gives enough grip to open any of my hard to open containers.
