Carbon vs Black Tied

Which do you guys think is better? I have Black Tied and have trouble blending it - is Carbon a better black shadow? I'm going to MAC tomorrow and would like to know if I should buy Carbon. Thanks in advance!

Yes, I think carbon is much easier to blend and gives better color payoff than black tied!

I think that carbon is a better black as well. Like ferra said it blends a lot easier. I am not sure if it is the glitter in the black tied that makes it more difficult to blend or what. Black tied is gorgous though! I would go with carbon if I had to choose between the two.

I swapped away Black Tied because as much as I love a little extra pizzazz, I wasn't feeling the combination of black and glitter. Carbon is wonderful though. Just like the other ladies said, it's much easier to blend and the color payoff kicks Black Tieds butt.

.. I like them both but never have tried them as eyesadows I use them as eyeliner but even with that carbon is alot easier to work with.

I actually use Black Tied a lot, but I don't think it blends that well...I love the color, but I kinda wish I had Carbon instead. The color of black tied isn't as intense as I would like.

i have black tied and i like it but i'm quite fed up with the glitter, it's running out already so as soon as i finish it i know i'm gonna buy carbon!
