CARGO cosmetics....

I'm doing a project on CARGO for my beauty school... does anyone know anything about their products? I'm especially looking for something regarding their eyeshadows. How do they hold up to MAC and other brands?

Also, info on their blushes and lipglosses would be nice too!

If anyone owns CARGO, tell me what you think! I need all the feedback I can get!

I'm dying to know more about CARGO as well. I've don't own any of their makeup and have never even tried it, just been looking at it on Sephora. It looks like a really good brand that I could get into, but there's no where close that sells it, and I am not interested in ordering it blindly.

love cargo! i use their shadows and glosses all the time! in fact i just picked up a crapload of cargo anniversary stuff from sephora yesterday

their shadows are really nice, and their lipglosses in the pot are great! very smooth and not icky sticky! i like their blushes too..

Cargo's Aegean eye shadow is almost identical to mac's infamous Parrot eye shadow. I really like the brand.

Everything looks amazing, and I'm so tempted by the glosses, but I've heard that they just like Vaseline when applied, and don't last well at all. And that the glosses melt and get messy in the container. But I still want it all.

i have a few of their e/s (singles and duos) and i absolutely love them!
Great staying power, super-pigmented and wonderful texture.

the glosses do kinda melt in the container, but only because everything comes in a tin/aluminum container, and if you like left it in your car or something, the metal would heat up and the gloss would just be liquid. but they are really pretty colors and they have great eyeshadows. i personally think Aegean e/s looks like Steamy, not so much like Parrot, but yes, pretty none the less. i like their BeachBlushes, Coral and Echo beach are the prettiest IMO

It's not on the quality (sorry), but the money spent on one of the eye shadow palettes goes to a charity.

Only CARGO item I have is the matte pressed powder bronzer and I just yesterday scraped the last bit out of the tin. It was the best NON-shimmer bronzer I've used!

I only have one Cargo product, their Catalina blush which is a lovely cool, bubblegum pink. Nice stuff, it has good pigmentation and is very easy to apply.

I dont own any cargo but I tried their powder in the store and they actually had stuff dark enough for my skintone, it had red undertones which was fine for me but it got greasy kinda quick. I would give it another try seeing as how I already had on m/u I just put it over what I had on.
The lushes look gorgeous online but I havent tried any one yet. Im intersted to see what their matte blush looks like on.

As far as Charity and stuff I havent really heard of anything?

that pallette is AMAZING. you can do like a hundred different looks with it, it was designed by Courtney Cox-Arquette and all of the proceeds go to funding research for the cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa or EB, which is a very rare but painful skin condition.

I have a blush and an eyeshadow duo from CARGO, and I love them. The eyeshadow is soooo smooth and soft, and it blends SOOO well. The blush is smooth as well and is very pigmented. Both of these products last all day on me even through massive sweat. I hope to collect all of their blushes and eyeshadow duos later on..

I love their lipgloss duos! They have gorgeous colors and the texture is amazing! Not to mention the pots are enormous!

One of my favorite can't do without items is the Cargo smokey eye brush and the eyelighter pen. Both are absolute essentials as far as I am concerned. Their eyeshadows and blushes are great too.

Has anyone tried their PurseGlosses? I was looking at them, wondering if I should get Chicago or Beijing, but I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the two.

^^At the CARGO training I went to, she revealed to use that all of the new Purse Glosses are colors that are found in existing lipgloss duos, so if you don't like a color from one of the duos, it could be in a PurseGloss.
