I was a little put off too when I heard about that stuff too, but I already had one product (the Magic Dust Fairy Wings) which I was happy with. I made my second order in the beginning of February and honestly have been so impressed. I find that eyeshadows usually crease crazy-fast on my eyelids but even without a primer or a base, Lime Crime stays put. The colour pay off is great and I get so many compliments when I wear the ones I have.
Ultimately I'm not concerned about the cost (as some people have griped about) as in NZ with the exchange rate the Lime Crime range is actually a heck of a lot cheaper than most brands available to me here - we don't have MAC counters in every city, only 4 cities in the country have them so it's not readily available to me, Lime Crime beats Loreal for price here!
Quality wise as I've said I've always been really impressed (and consider myself quite discerning).
Brand-wise and the drama around that - I don't really care. I've gone with my gut feeling and I really like the brand and the blogazine and I'm buying into that brand when I wield my unicorn tube. I'm happy to do that, it makes me super happy to pull out a purple tube with a holographic unicorn on it!
