catching falling e/s

I don't use foundation, what can I use to put on my cheeks to catch the falling e/s when I use the frosts that would make it easier to wipe off. When I use matte's I can just wipe it off with a warm cloth and thats the end of it but with the frosts the glitter sticks and its hell getting it off.

Baby powder??

Try translucent loose powder...
I heard you're supposed put an excess amount of it on under your eyes to catch the fall outs and then bursh it away once you've finished doing your eyes.

Hmm, translucent powder is a good idea. I usually just hold a tissue under my eyes when I am using pigments or other shadows with a lot of fall out.

I used mostly loose eyeshadows, so I slightly mist my brush with a spritz of water. This prevents the eyeshadow from falling.

I know this is kinda nuts but you can also use tape. The really big thick painters/masking tape works really well, if I'm using really glittery shadows I (sometimes) but a piece on each cheek under each eye and then fill in any spaces that are still exposed by patting loose powder over it and then after I'm done with my eye makeup, I brush the powder away and take off the tape!

It takes some getting used to and trying different ways but eventually you'll find something that works for you! Hope that helps

I use the holding a tissue method when I am in a rush, and the loose powder method when I have more time. Both work well.

I'm a loose shadow addict. My trick is to tilt my head forward when I apply the really "fall-out" prone shades. (a swivel mirror really helps.) I look silly for a few seconds but it does minimize cheek-sparkles.

dust a bunch of transluscent powder underneath your eyes to catch the fallout and then when you're done just brush it all away =)

I have a toddler at home, so I always have a ton of baby wipes. I find those work really well, and they'll even get the glitter off.

Often, I'll keep a cheap travel pack of unscented baby wipes handy, so that I don't use up the good wipes.

loose powder is the biz to catch the eyeshadow, pigment fallout. After you finish your eye makeup you can just brush off the powder. the babywipes work too but i have found that some of pigments stick to my face when it get wet from the wipes causing me to wipe a little hard. i purchased some cheap loose powder from wal mart in the makeup aisle.

ok so i went to CVS and bought some loose translucent powder from with some NY name on it.. I figured I was gonna just brush it off so I didn't think to compare it to my complexion (its tan). Anywho, I tried it out and although it caught some of the the falling e/s, the powder fell all on my shirt (such a slob). I used my blush brush to apply and when i was done it didnt quite brush off. it like blended in a little made me look ashy. and i still had to use a wipe or wet cloth to remove the rest. Is that how it's supposed to work or should I go and get a powder to match my complexion so it would blend in?

SlimSugar, then just use a baby wipe to remove the loose powder. The wipe will give you a better clean up and not leave any residue!!! hth!!

you'll either want one that's translucent or close to your skin tone. That way you won't have to wipe it off in an extra step.

i do use foundation, so i always do my eyes first!

but, being soooo ancient, if i put powder under my eyes, it would just collect in the wrinkles, so i put a layer of cheap silicone primer or extra skin cream there and wipe it away when i put on foundation and concealer!

ta da!!!
