CCO aside, what's Tanger Riverhead like as a mall?

I'm planning a trip there in the New Year to get some clothing bargains but have never been before.

http://www.tangeroutlet.com/riverhead

I trust that it's a big improvement on Jersey Gardens which left me disappointed when I visited it, in Feb.

Has anybody been lately and if so are able to fill me in on shops I should definately pay a visit?

I like my fashion so am looking for stores with clothing similar to H&M, Topshop, Zara, French Connection, etc

Also what kind of reductions should I expect to find in the New Year at an outlet? Will the reductions plummet by say, a further 50% off current sales prices?

Thanks a lot :)

Im used to going to Franklin Mills, and Woodbury commons and in all honesty Tanger was a huge let down. Besides the CCO there isnt really anything worth going over there for. It was very blah.

I think the new outlets in Deer Park, LI may be a lot better IMO. They have alot more stores and i think the deals would be comparable if not better.

Hummm I doubt if it will be that much of a decrease... But there may be a great deduction off clearance items...But probably not an additional 50% off already reduced sales prices. IMO

I can't speak for the stores at this outlet... at the Woodbury Commons Outlets there's a French Connection store, and their stuff is always heavily discounted - tshirts for $10 - $15 apiece, dress pants & khakis for as low as $30, but usually around $40-$50... they've also got a BCBG that I find a LOT of good deals at - cute dresses for $60 (that sit in my closet because I never have occasions to wear them), I get dress shirts for work there for between $15 & $40, which IMO isn't bad for BCBG...

I tend to spend a lot of money on clothes though, so my views might be somewhat jaded.

Thanks for the replies!! Oh I don't know what to do now. I really wanna go to a CCO and the Riverhead one's meant to be pretty good - should I just go to the one at Woodbury Common instead then??

I don't wanna traipse all the way to Riverhead for one shop and fork out for a round trip ticket too if the mall itself is crap!

*sighs* decisions, decisions.

I think I'll need to call Riverhead CCO and see what they have in stock to determine whether this trip will be worthwhile.

Riverhead is boring. There aren't many "outlet" stores at all. I always just go to the CCO and the Zoo York outlet (for my boyfriend and something me!). That' it though.
