Soooo Im kinda bummed because it seems like NO ONE is hiring as far as "counterwise"

and where I live there are only 4 count 'em 4 MAC counters and NO stores 3 are 30-40 min away and 1 is 10min away. I want to get my foot into the cosmetic door but the CCO is my last resort. The only thing that bothers me is ALL the women who work there could really CARE LESS about makeup and most of them look soooo frumpy

. Should I go through with this to just get my foot in the makeup door and continue to freelance on the side or just hold out until a counter position opens up?????? btw I'm moving to South Korea in Nov. Do they have MAC in Seoul?

I say go for it ... its just a matter of getting your "foot in the door"
try to get as much experience and product knowledge from it and move on.

Good Luck!!!

Go for it. I heard the discount is reaallllyyy good and you get all first picks of items when the shipments come in!

I would say go for it, because it helps w/ the retail experience portion. The reason why the people at CCO's look careless about makeup is because they are just hired to cashier. They are not makeup artist, the are not sent to any traning, they cant even recommend any of the products to people. So yeah thats why (my friend worked at one) but the discount is pretty sweet! lol
