Chain Emails that make you LOL

So, I am sure some of you long ago received a chain email that said something to the effect that this makeup brand E.L.F. that was apparently sold at Bloomingdales was offering their products for $1 each. Well obviously it was a hoax b/c Bloomingdales and ELF never ever partnered- in fact, I think ELF has a disclaimer on their site saying they are not affiliated. LOL Well anyways my sister and I laughed when we saw that b/c it was so fake. Then, fast forward 2 years and my sister gets this email today from a girl at work:

Quote:
Nordstrom is changing the logo on their makeup, so they're selling everything for $1!!! The make-up line e.l.f. (eyes-lips-face) has been bought out by Nordstrom and will be re-packaged with the Nordstrom name on it. They are getting rid of the entire make up in E.L.F packaging. You do have to pay shipping. They have
everything - powder, mascara, lipstick, a mineral line (100% natural), brushes & cases, nail polish, lotions, you name it's there. The website is:
<http://www.eyeslipsface.com/shop.asp> elf Cosmetics | Makeup for Eyes, Lips & Face When you check out there is a space for a coupon code. Use CAROLINA and receive 50% off of your purchase.I bought some stuff yesterday, about 14 items and paid $13 because the 50% off coupon took off shipping. Have fun ladies!!!

LOL, I've never gotten any makeup related ones.

Just the stupid old stuff, like this chick that died x years ago in some crazy scary manner will kill you and do this and that to you if you don't send it to 10 people in 5 minutes.

Ugh, I just wish people would stop with these period!

the one about making a wish and sending it to 10 people within 10 minutes and then your phone will ring and it will be your wish coming true. lol! it always starts out with "i'm a 13 year old girl who wants her dad to come from the war and i got this email and made my wish and later that day my dad showed up on the doorstep"
well i'm a 27 year old woman who has been getting this email since i was 23 why the f*ck is this girl still 13??
i laugh and delete it without even reading it.

Or better yet, her little story says that she already sent the email. How did the story of what happened to her after she sent the email get in the email??? That shit always makes me mad.

I really do wonder who the hell sat on their asses and thought of those messages and their little "storylines" and typed it up, then sent it around to people?

Too much free time on their hands man lol.

I think this thread would be a lot more active if the title was changed to

Chain Emails that make you want to slap who ever sent it to you in the first place
