OMGosh those are so beautiful!!!! I pretty much always use my fingers. But, I can't do the inner corners because of my nails
I do hope that the Peachy color actually has come color to it. Seems as though every time Mac has done peach es lately - it just doesn't show up.
Love the lip pencils colors too, but I'm not sure that I care for the lipsticks? yet...

Elegant, I have the same problem with inner corners, but not because of my nails - my finger's just too big (and my fingers aren't that big) and shadow ends up getting on the area underneath my eye - which isn't always bad......I'm just much better with a brush most days.
I really have issues.

I received an answer mail from Chanel regarding the availability of the Byzance collection. It says that it will available in only a few selected boutiques worldwide, but not in Germany. And that the 250$ palette will only be sold only in 4 studios, in Paris, Dubai, Moscow and Istanbul.
Err...but I thought it was available in the US also? Didn't some people buy it already? Hm.

See, almost every time I talk to someone about the Byzance Collection, they think I am talking about the $250 palette! And then I have to tell them no no no, I am talking about the Red blush, lipstick etc. & then they say oh, well I don't know

I haven't seen any detailed info about colors yet unless I'm forgetting, but here is a cached post from cafemakeup talking about them in early March. Maybe this was what you saw:

[/quote] Nope, when I mailed Chanel I added a link to the quad and the red and gold blush to be sure that they mean that I am not talking about the gold quint. We only get the four seasonal collections and that's it.

Natyk, the lipsticks you're referring to are the new Rouge Allure (I think they're Allure) Velvets - wonderful matte texture without the dryness.....we're all ecstatic to see them! They're supposed to come out with the Fall collection, or so I've been told, so within the next couple of weeks here in the US. BTW, don't be hesitant to post - just jump right in! We love newbies!!
I used to live in NC in the Raleigh/Cary area - I miss it a lot!
Don't forget about our other Chanel forums (lipsticks, etc) and of course our off-topic Ratonas thread in the Chatter forum.......there, anything goes, and often does!!

I guess that I am going to end up entirely passing on MAC semi precious. Most of my money will be heading over to Chanel for the fall collection, with a couple of things from MAC bloggers. I have to stop looking at the MAC forums for a month or so, or at least until the semi precious frenzy is over.
