I'm wearing Fauve today, there is no fallout. It is shimmering and I like the effect. I paired it with a light peach pink but I would like the look to be darker. So now I feel like getting Taupe Gris or Night Magic to pair with. Is Taupe Gris LE?

I love Fauve.......with Taupe Grise......I think TG is perm, Miss QQ........you should still be able to find it (it's still on Nordies website, so it should be available elsewhere too).

Did I read somewhere that they re-formulated the Vanities quad? Maybe it was on Karla's site that I read that? I am interested to see swatches!

Winthrop, it's worth the wait! I used mine today, and I love that it's not too dark like most taupe-y shades. It's just a really wearable shade. Hope you can get it soon!

Thanks winthrop. I saw it before but I have forgotten lol. Now I want Illusoire too! Yeh Fauve is worth the wait. I haven't worn it much because chanel has come out with so many new eyeshadow recently, I have no chance to wear them all. I will give Fauve more air time next week.

[/quote] Every time I see this post I want Safari. Do I want Safari? Do I need it? ;) Fauve is really worth it. Let's just hope that we do not get your expectations up and then you do not find it so special ;) But it's a really great shade, as Nora said worth the wait.

Hey, me too! I nearly bought it when it was launched in 2008 I think, but when I see it now I still want it. But now it is an old es, and I have new ones to look forward to. I don't know...

[/quote] Same here. I'll think I'll swatch it the next time I am in the store. Normally I do not wear colours like this much, but it always looks gorgeous in swatches. :dunno:

Let me know what you think and if you got it. I did swatched it not long ago and was surprised that the shadow is perm.

I have eyed Safari over the years as well, but something has stopped me from getting it. iirc, it's more of a true taupe colour, unlike Fauve, which has a decent amount of purple in it. Or am I remembering incorrectly?

I can't wait to get my hands on Fauve eyeshadow. I don't know if I should order it online or look for it at local counters. I am curious about Twilight too. Can anyone compare Twilight to the pink shadow in the Rose Envolee quad? How about Vanities? I found a pic that made me like it but I have only seen one pic. Anyone else have pics and/or swatches of Vanities?
