Changing Faces :(

I hate finding the right lighting. I wear Bare Escentuals in Medium Beige, however when I look in the mirror in natural light I feel like the color is too Orange. Everyone says it matches perfectly to my neck, so is it just me? I don't wear foundation too often b/c I usually have good skin. If I do wear it, it's at night. but the past few days I've gotten two pimples so I've been wearing it during the day. I tried on both medium and light at Sephora and the medium matched perfect.
Oh why do our eyes play tricks on us?

Sometimes a foundation that matches your neck doesn't match your face which is why you might see it as looking so wrong - especially when you are applying it. It is however correct to match it to the neck. If you just match to the face you'll accentuate the natural difference between your face and your neck and your head will look like it doesn't belong to your body.

I know, I feel like when I look in the mirror my face and neck don't match, but everyone else says it matches perfectly and they wouldn't even know that I have makeup on...such a quandry...

i dont know... i usually just wear tm and its very little tint. whenever i try using any kind of foundation i feel like its too light and people tell me it's fine... so i have the opposite feeling. i can't be that white!!!
