Chromacakes? *Pro Item*

I am sure that I am not going to explain this right but Chromacakes are solid cakes of pigmentation that when activated with water will provide a creamy texture for body painting. I used the red cake for a challenge here and it was easy to use and super easy to wash off.

Unless you are doing makeup on a Pro level or are on the stage, you really wont run into too many everyday uses for these.

Think of them like a watercolour brick that you use for painting. The more water you use the more sheer the coverage. You really don't need them as you can get the same colour selection from the shadows and pigments; they're mostly intended for theatrical and print use, stuff like that.

ChromaCakes are MACs version of standard theatrical pancake makeup. They are a hard heavily pigmented puck of makeup which is activated with water prior to use. ChromaCakes are used for large-area body painting and theatrical makeup effects.
ChromaCakes follow the same usage precautions as the PRO pigments of the same shade names, so while you may be able to use some of them in the eye or lip area, not all will work well in these areas.
