Chunk!

Okay. So about a week ago, I went black...THe last time kinda faded to a dark brown, which was lovely..but not what I wanted. But now I'm thinking about putting some chunks of color in it, but I'm at a loss of what color and if I could pull that sort of thing off.

Is that look totally out? haha...

Here are some pics just so you can see the cut and shape I've got goin on...

Any pictures of new cuts with this sort of thing are welcome...

TIA!

I wouldn't want to suggest bangs for I fear it would shield your beautiful facial features, but I honestly believe that you could pull off bangs or 'framing' really well.

As far as color, I wouldn't touch it, but that's just me.

If you are thinking of putting colour in I would go to a hairdresser. Black is notoriously difficult to change so you may not get the colour you want if you try it yourself at home.

I think red tones would be your best bet as any attempt to lighten the black to put coloured chunks in will leave you with warm tones anyway. You could always put a few coloured extensions in, at least that way it's not permanent and you could have any colour you want!

I think the extension idea is a great one...I'll be going to Sallys whenever this snow stuff stops

I dont suj. putting chunks in ur hair... im thinking more along the lines of subtle highlights to break the color up some... it will give ur hair more of a natural color and look. plus it wont make ur hair look so monochrome
