Hi,
I have just had an interview at Clinique today and I think it went really well. The next step is a phone interview... Can anyone tell me what to expect? And from experience, if I do well on the phone interview... Am I probably getting the job?

I am surprised, in most interviews there is a phone interview followed by a personal interview. Phone interviews are used mostly to test how you handle situations on the spot, such as giving advice and listening to complaints.

Do your research before hand and since it's on the phone you have an advantage - you can write down key phrases and words you really want to say and you won't forget them! You don't want to write out everything you want to say, it would sound obvious, but a few key statements can really help! Good luck!!

I had a phone interview with clinique just last week. It went really well. Things are still being talked out because there might already be an employee that might take the job, so yeah. But anyway, all Estee Lauder company phone interviews are the same. They ask a lot about how you see things and what you would do in a certain situation. They ask for a time when you've taken charge and what kind of awards you've won. They ask about your retail background and job history. They ask if you are goal oriented, where you see yourself in the future. What kind of things you expect from a company you work for, etc. Have your resume with you and maybe take some notes about what you might want to tell them about yourself that would pertain to the position and company. Have a few questions for them as the end of the interview, they like to know your interested and just stay calm.
