Clue e/s

So! Who all has purchased this one? I recently got this and I don't know what to use it with. It is a really pretty grey for those of you who are wondering what it looks like. I'm thinking maybe blend carbon with it to make a smokey look? What would you guys do?

I got it...and a backup!! I think carbon would be fantastic with it. I'm wearing it today with a smokey purple color and it looks great with that, too. I think Clue is one of those colors that will go with EVERYTHING. I'd bet Clue would be a great smokey look with just about any other deep color blended with it (like a dark green or blue, or purple, like I did, or even another brown).

Omg i was thinking the same thing! I was gonna blend it with fertile, but as of late i've been having a problem with fertile, its not coming out to be true to color (i hope i make sense). have u had the chance to take a look at memorobilia and alum? if you have what do u think of them purrtykitty? I think I might go pick those two up too

I wasn't so hot on Alum, but I'm still thinking about Memorabilia. My only gripe with it is it's a bit redder than I usually like my purples. But then again, I shouldn't keep buying purples that are all the same shade. I tested Parrot blended with Clue and it looked fantastic, so I ended up getting Parrot (even though I swore I wouldn't). I loved the way the bright turquoise meshed with the muted color of Clue.

Have you tried using a different base with Fertile? Some of my colors turn out different when I use Painterly paintpot instead of UDPP. You might also try a purple base so that Fertile appears more vibrant.

I just bought Clue today! I haven't figured out yet what to pair it with, but thanks for the suggestions everyone! I am glad to hear that it look sgood with Parrot, because I bought that too

has anyone swatched clue next to french grey, moth brown and satin taupe? i hear mixed reviews that clue is similar to each but imo all those colors are all different.

Yeah memorabilia is kinda red. I went to the mall today and already they ran out of parrot. Good thing I got mines the day it came out !! And oh yeah I figured out my fertile problem. I used UDPP and then I used beige-ing s/s then I put on my fertile. It worked
