Concealer for facial birthmark

My mom is going to a wedding next weekend and she wants me to do her makeup, which is a big thing b/c she's 65 and has never worn makeup in her life. She has a birthmark on her right cheek that she wants me to conceal it for her. For her trial run, I used MAC's select cover up in NW20, which is my concealer. I have to go buy her one in the correct shade but was wondering if anyone could give me any rec's on a different MAC concealer. TIA

try studio finish spf 35, in the little jar. they claim it can cover tattoos-which is an overstatement IMO but it is a good concealor

What's the color of the birthmark? Is it red, or brown?

Why not consider color-correcting it first or use one of MUFE's concealer palettes?

the birthmark is brown. how much is the mufe? b/c she was only looking to spend around 20-25 usd b/c it's a one shot deal and she was going to give the makeup to me if i could use it.

MUFE palette retails for $36, but you can also opt for Laura Mercier's Secret Camouflage, that's a pretty good concealer too and within your price range.

Or you could try the MUFE full cover concealer. That stuff is -actually- opaque enough to cover tatoos... unlike MAC concealers which do next to nothing in comparison! I'm not quite sure how much it is... I think it might be kinda pricey, but it's worth it for what you get, and how MUCH you get.
