i take my photos with a canon powershot IS 3S, TV Mode with 400 ISO (normally, sometims if its very sunny outside with 200) and 1/10 or 1/20 shutter (depending on light outside) towards my bathroom window with all bathlights on - using not auto light, but the "cloud effect" light (in the light menu pictured as a little white cloud at my cam). and the 12 pix macro mode.
