Ever tried any of the darker colored matte Cream Color Bases? I think the darker ones are mostly at Mac Pro. I have heard they make nice contour colors, and i know the Mac artist use some to contour at fashion shows.

Hope i helped

Hi! well i'm an nc40 and i use this gwp i got from estee lauder..its the star bronzer and its great...but i heard that MAC's Emote blush (its been discontinued though) was the perfect color because it was a brown with a greyish undertone which mimics shadows..you can find them at CCO's now if your lucky or MUA. Hoped this helped..

If you can get your hands on the Sculpt/Shape duos, definitely get one. They were LE and released by MAC like a year ago. Some CCOs might still have them and i have seen several of them on eBay. You would probably need the Lightsweep/Shadester one.

As for highlighting, I really like MAC MSFs - the newest ones (Refined and Perfect Topping) are gorgeous

I also like Albatross by NARS.

i second the sculpt and shape duos. i like emote (le) and blunt too.

if you can't find the sculpt and shape duos, you can call a mac pro store and have them send you the individual colors.

i just got 3 of the sculpt and shape duos and trying to figure out what's best for me (nc40). i like both "scult" and "shadester" for the contour shades. as for highlight -- i actually like the lightest one out of the 4 duos..i can't remember what it's called though.

I second the Shape & Sculpt Duos. They should still be floating around a CCO near you. Blunt blush is good. As for highlighting the new Sugarsweet MSFs are good and the Stila Sun Highlighter is really nice too. Also NARS Albatross is a very universal highlighting shade.
