cool toned and orange l/s?

I'm fairly cool toned and orangy colors generally don't look all that great on me, but I just got this bright orange shirt (somehow that doesn't look awful on me lol) and I want a lipstick to match. Any tips on an orange l/s (preferably MAC) that won't look horrific on me? thanks!

Pink Cabana is kiiinda orange-ish.. on the MAC site they describe it as bright coral-pink with gold pearl =)

If you're sure you don't like the way strong oranges look (I think they're still worth a try at the counter), try more coral colors. A lot of people love Lychee Luxe. If you still haven't found a color you like, you could try Lust is Lush Lipgelee. It's really bright in the tube, but sheer on. If you're looking for a dramatic look, though, it isn't what you're looking for. All it'll do is warm up your natural lip color and add shine. I almost forgot about CB 96 lipstick. Check that out too.

I was going to suggest CB96! I'd say apply after lip balm so it doesn't come off too strong, but I just wore it with an orange shirt yesterday and loved it. =D I also tried Coral Co-ordinate, which is softer and not as orange-y. If you can't find CC (being LE), try .. Rambling Rose, I think. It's actually a bit more corally than CC but a very subtle difference. For any of these I used Flowerosophy l/g to add some shine, but that's more b/c I don't have a corally l/g at the moment. HTH!

I would find a lipstick that complements rather than matches your shirt. I look deathly in orange lipstick, but I have a few orange tops that I like, too, and usually I add a warmer lip pencil to a neutral lipstick.

I would suggest CB96 l/s for MAC like some of the other posters above, it is a really great orange that isn't too bright or warm.

I think you can make any orange lipstick more cool toned by layering it with a cool tones lipgloss. I tend to look better in cool tones too so i always put a blue based pink lipgloss on top of my warmer lipsticks.

I also second the recommendation for Vegas Volt
