Cotton Candy Paint OR Fresco Rose Paint Pot?

So last night I went to the MAC counter and purchased some extra back-ups of cotton candy paint...I loveeeee this color with a black smoke eye...When I got home I saw a thread about paint pots and saw fresco Rose, which at the counter they must not have had b/c I checked out the pots!!! Anyways long story short for those of you who have both or have tried both...which color do you prefer? Are they kind of the same soft pretty pink? I'm trying to decide if it's worth going back and having to drag along my 2 year old twins!

honestly, i prefer paint pots over paints.
i find paints can be too 'dry' and not blend your shadows properly
paint pots are creamy but it doesnt mean they will crease, make sure you apply thin layers and there you go!
i think the fresco rose would be a much prettier pink

I'm gonna have to put a thumbs down for the paint pots. I have both canton candy and fresco rose paint pot.

paints however dry faster then paint pots so some people like the latter better then the former.

but base color wise I would go with paints if you can work within the fast drying time

Canton Candy is more pink...Fresco Rose is more of a toned-down nude pink with a lot of shimmer whereas Canton Candy is a pretty, medium-light pink with soft shimmer.

It really doesn't make THAT much of a difference, but I personally prefer Canton Candy's color over Fresco Rose, but since they're discontinuing CC, I'll have to get FR when I run out! HTH!!

No need to rush out and get Fresco Rose right now. I prefer the paint over the paint pot, in terms of color.

Fresco Rose is a muted pink, but Canton Candy is a awesome shimmery pink!

Save yourself a trip with your twins! Enjoy your paints!
