Could these be fake?

I was looking at a seller's eyeshadows, namely Thunder, Cumulus and Go (Starflash), and messaged her to ask what the batch codes were.

She told me Cumulus is A48 and Go is A33.

Thunder, at B47 appears to be in order, but would I be right in doubting the other 2? Cumulus came out in the same collection as Thunder, but has it been re-promoted at all? A33 seems rather early for a Starflash, doesn't it?

I thought they start each new batch at A, if its a new color. I will check at home, I think I have a Cloudburst from this collection still in the pan...

A few days ago I received a MAC 217 brush that I ordered from online store. Brush looks great and it's really soft, I like it already, and I think it's authentic, but when I checked the official MAC page it says that length of the brush it should be 17 cm, but my brush is shorter by about 4 mm. Length of wooden handle is 11.5 cm, and the length of metal ferrule is 3.5 cm. Please, look at the pictures and tell me - is this authentic or not?

Can somebody help me out with that brush?

i have the exact same brush, it measures 16,5cms and on the US MAC it states the 217 should be 17cm, however the AUS MAC site says it is 6.5 inches long, which works out to be a touch longer than 16.5cms. I still can't work out why the US site has cms, but the AUS one has inches, shouldn't it be the other way around? I have emailed where I purchased from to ask, but of course have received no reply. Could someone with a genuine 217 please measure the parts and post the measurements?
