Craptacular monday grab-bag

I used to not mind Mondays so much. Today... I just wanted it over.

This morning I did a grab-bag thing and came out with MAD's CatsEye and Fyrrinae's Fyre & Ice and let me tell you F&I is a nightmare to work with sometimes. My first application was too heavy so I went to clean it off with a baby wipe and the darned stuff refused to come off! Then I re-did my makeup and used the F&I as a liner (wet) which looked ok but the stuff was like soot, I kept having little flaky bits of blackish stuff on my face throughout the day and if I tried to wipe them away I'd get a major black smudge. PITA!! I'm also not convinced pink blush is for me.

Anyway, this is what I ended up with:

Face: Olay Complete, Monistat anti-chafe gel, MAD light concealer, MAD light golden foundation, MAD blush (can't remember which one but its light pink), MAD Transluscent Veil powder

Eyes: UDPP, MAD CatsEye on lid and lower lashline, Fyrinnae Fyre & Ice dry in crease and wet on upper lashline as liner, MAD Linen on browbone, CG Lashblast mascara, MAC A Little Folie e/s in brow and Ulta brow gel

Lips: Rimmel Vinyl lipgloss in Mmmm!

I like F&I as a liner, you'll have to use a sealant on it though. I think I would have gone with a more coral-y/peach blush with this look. I find it goes better with greens and golds. Try pink blushers with blues.

Girl, I know what you mean about Fyre & Ice! I'm still mad because I have yet been able to get it to look how I want when I apply it. It always comes out looking black insted of the beautiful deep purple it is in the pot!

At any rate, it looks like you won the battle.

The pink blush from MAD is probably Modest Pink. I agree with knoxy, though - maybe a peachy blush would've been better with those colors.

You still look awesome, though!

Thanks everyone! Haha, I still had a smudge of Fyre & Ice on my chest (in my cleavage no less) when I went into the shower this morning. Jeez!
