Cream Blush?

Hey, girls and guys . . .

As far as cream blushes go . . . I've never used them before, but have been considering trying one or two. My question is this: do you use them in pro palettes? With powder blushes? It seems to me that it might get very messy to have all that cream in a relatively open space like that, and I worry about "infecting" them with stray powder blush. Any experience?

I use the MAC Blushcreme, and I just keep them in their regular pot.. I think it would be very messy to keep them in palettes.

I agree... the blushcreme I have is quite "sticky" in the pan and it would stand to reason they would get fallout from the powder blushes!

do not depot the blushcremes!!! i was a complete idiot and tried to do this. and yes, it resulted in a horrible icky mess of blush powder stuck into the top of the cremes.

if you're really into the cremes, i would wait until you have a large enough collection (which i don't yet) to do an entire palate of just the cremes.

If you are going to buy your blushcremes in pro pan form I would keep them in their own palette. I once stored a temporarily depotted CCB in a blush palette and yep,.. when I went to move it it had definitely a sheen of powder from the powder blushes on top of it. Soo I would expect the blushcremes to work the same way. I agree however if its LE and you have to buy it in the pot,.. you may wanna leave it in the pot. HTH!

Honestly, I'm not that impressed by MACs blushcremes....the consistency is really thick and I find them hard to blend. I'd look at other brands also when buying a cream blush, I know Nars and Bobbi Brown make them too...

I agree with Misschevious... I personally love Becca's Beach tint (it's even waterproof and smells of watermelon--but not irritatingly so)!! I like Tarte stains too, but again, hate the stickiness of it...but love the sheerness of them
