Cream Colour Base

Hello, I'm looking to achieve a dramatic eye shadow effect in red and black, for forthcoming fetishy type event.

For the black I'm using fluid line in Blacktrack, as a liner built up into a wing over the lid and outer eye - this is working fine (with practice

For the red, on the outside of this and onto the brow bone, I'm using Cream Colour base in Premeditated - as its the only intense Red (as opposed purple) I can seem to find on MACs www site. I've tried Paint in Flammable which is close but a bit burgundyish, and thats the reddest paint they have, I've also tried a paint pot in Artefact, again the reddest they have, but far to burgundy. Sorry, fussy old tart me...

Q1 - how to set the cream colour base - does it dry by itself? Or does it need setting with a powder?

Q2 - any other product recommendations for a intense red eye colour?

Thanks in anticipation.

CCBs don't dry, they stay creamy. you can set with a shadow or any powder, but it will crease anyway. if you're looking for a true red, try the pro pigment in basic red. its not approved for they eye area but you can still use it there at your own risk.
