Is it a must for eye makeup? And is it just for creating a crease 'line'?

The MA used one on me at my makeover and i guess it helped create a good effect in the outer corner..but i'm not sure if it's a must to have one for me.

I just requested the 224 and 217 brushes in my gratis at work because the girls there swear by these brushes. I haven't used either one, but when I do, I will let you know!

I am not that crazy about crease brushes. I guess if my crease didn't do a disappearing act on me when I have my eyes open I would have more use for one but any color I put into my crease is not really seen.

I own some crease brushes but use them for other things. Blending, all over color etc...

I have small eyes and when I had used 224 brush for the crease I pretty much covered my entire lid LOL. A MA at MAC recommended the 217 and it is perfect for me. It adds just the right amount of product in the crease for definition.

I love the 219 and 217 for the crease. If you have small eyes I think the 224 will be way too big.

Well i have VERY tiny eyes so i definetly need smaller brushes. So would the 217 be the smalllest one?
I might just end up getting an art store brush as i'm not sure i could make the look that the brush gives work for me or if i'd like it.

my eyes are small so crease brushes are really nice to have. i hear raves about MAC's 219 brush, but i bought some cheap brushes from CVS that are super soft and do the trick just fine. it's also easy to line with lash line (with shadow) with these brushes.
