For those of you who have be able to see the CultureBloom collection, how does Overgrown compare to Lucky Green and Juxt? I am trying to plan my buying spree, and I need to know if I *need* Overgrown
Btw... off/on-topic: has anyone noticed how many magazines have articles featuring culturebloom this past month or so?
Hell, Glamour magazine had nearly an entire magazine full of MAC makeup... with a page worth(literally, front and back) dedicated to culturebloom stuff. Also, Shop Etc, Lucky, Allure, and a few others featured culturebloom items, if I remember correctly.
(I subscribe to over 40 different magazines, so I notice these things)
I threw mine out yesterday, but it had Sarah Jessica Parker on the cover.
I don't know if that's Feb or not(think it may be march).
It did have a picture of overgrown, btw. That's the pic I'm thinking of to judge the difference. They actually drew little flowers in the shadow pots they featured... so you could kind of see the colour and texture better than in the photos we've seen online.
Seriously, almost every beauty feature in the magazine this month was like "MAC Makeup-artist Blah-blah-blah says...". They were hardcore about MAC this month.
My in-style magazine always has lots of mac recs.
As for the difference in overgrown and lucky green one is a Satin and the other a Veluxe Pearl. The are both yellow-greens. I can't wait to get these eyeshadows...
Overgrown is nothing like Lucky Green IMO, I don't have Juxt so I can't compare that one. IMO Overgrown looks quite a bit like Bitter except Bitter is a tad more yellow and Overgrown is not so matte looking once on the skin. HTH. I didn't buy Overgrown when I went to the preview night but I think I might get it now, just cause it's LE.
