Culturebloom - what did you get, what didn't you get and why?

I got:

* Iris Print e/s (It really surprised me! I fell in love with it!)
* Overgrown e/s (yes it is similar to Bitter but special in it own way!)
* Love-Bud e/s (another nice orange e/s, orange + me = buying!)
* Spring Up e/s (got it for free through a swap, such a nice lemonade-like color!)
* Botanical e/s (I love Sensualize so it was 100% sure that I bought this e/s too!

)
* Lavendar Sky e/s (It's pink!!!)
* Budding Lustreglass (Wow that was the first CB item that I fell in love with! Will get it through a swap)
* Flowerosophy Lustreglass (Bought it instantly on Ebay because it was soooo pretty!)
* Petal Pusher Lustreglass (Bought it instantly on Ebay because it was soooo pretty too!)

I didn't got Trance Plant Lustreglass because I don't wanna wear poo on my lips and both Fresh Buzz and Awaken Lipsticks didn't look good on me at all!!!

I didn't got the two Blushcremes as well because they're permanent now and I tried to keep my focus on LE items but I will get Sweet William when I have my blush palette!

I didnt really care for the eyeshadows, i have lots of greens that i hardly ever wear so i didnt see the point in getting more! The lipsticks were a bit blah, ditto the lustreglasses.
I love the things i did get though! <3

Aww...Trance Plant was the prettiest out of all the lip colours from CB, imo.

What I bought(reasons why in parenthesis):

*Love-Bud e/s (it was peachy. peach = auto buy for e/s)

*Botanical e/s (it was brownish. brown = auto-buy for e/s)

*Awaken l/s (looked pretty and light. ended up being too frosty)

*Fresh Buzz l/s (same as above)

*Poppy Hop l/s (saw beautiful swatches in some magazines pre-CB. bought because of those. LOVE it.)

*Florabundi l/s (impulse buy, looked pretty in tube. too frosty on me.)

*Trance Plant l/g (curiousity made me buy this. my fave of all CB)

*Budding l/g (wanted a sheer red)

*Petal Pusher l/g (curiousity. beautiful colour, too.)

Oh, and of those I didn't buy, I didn't buy them because I knew they would look like crap on me. A quick trip to Nordstrom to try them out confirmed that I was correct. As far as the blushcremes go, I just wasn't interested. I did buy Springsheen from the Ultra Cheek line, though.

Bought all 6 eyeshadows, which is unusual for me as I usually skip pinks and peaches but I was in need of retail therapy and managed to get a good discount so thought, what the heck! Skipped all the l/g as I have too many sitting around waiting to be used up although I was very tempted by Trance Plant and loved the names like Petal Pusher.

I didnt get a thing from Culturebloom. Strange for me, but I felt like everything in the collection was either similar to something i had or wouldnt work for me. Iris Print was pretty, but when I tried it, it just looked like a bruise on my skintone.

Sad, since i was so excited, hoping Culturebloom would be this year's Madame B for me (I bought nearly all of Madame B). Sweetie Cake looks very promising though.

i got....

all the eye shadows... cuz i loved them!!!!! i went to a seminar and they showed all these looks with the colors and i just needed them all... funny thing... i still havent tried any of the looks... but i am pleased with all my new colors!!!

violet undergroud... i am soooo into purples lately and this looks awsome with iris print on top..... so often enough i used it either as a lower lid color combo or i use violet underground as a base under other purples... its gives a nice color...

poppy hop l/s..... i freaking adore this color. its such a hot orangy!!! so cool!!!

will get culturebloom and awaken lipsticks tomorrow because i love the freaking colors....

well get budding l/g because its awsome!!!!! lmao

I didn't get:
Spring Up e/s- actually, I did get it, then returned it. It was like yellow chalk on me. I'm still on the lookout for a great yelllow-ish MAC e/s.
Lavender Sky e/s- just looked like a less pigmented Stars n' Rockets on me.
Botanical e/s- I might go back for this one...

The rest of the lipsticks and lustreglasses didn't hold my attention, I never got the hang of applying blushcremes so I don't really buy them, and I prefer Powerpoints to Kohls.

The spring up looked too chalky with my skin tone, and botanical looked muddy on me. I lived Lavendar Sky, but have Stars and Rockets and on me, they are too similar to have both. None of the other l/s or l/g did anything for me

Culturebloom still hasn't been released over here yet, and our MAs have no idea when exactly it will be (is it really such an impossible thing to find out an exact delivery date? I suppose there must be some schedule ...). *I'm so angry I could throw something out of the window*

I only got Iris Print e/s and Budding l/g.

Iris print was like a color I hadn't seen before and Budding is just gorgeous. In the tube it looks similar to some other colors I have but when I put it on it looks like nothing I own. I love it so much!!!

*Overgrown e/s (I don't have Bitter so there was no conflict for me. I love greens anyway)
*Love Bud e/s (I love this and am pretty sure it will see heavy rotation this spring)
*Blossoming (my first blushcreme. I thought it would look more dewy on my skin, but otherwise it's really pretty)

*Culturebloom (I was so afraid this wouldn't look good on me, but it's gorgeous.)

My entire Culturebloom haul was made online so I was afraid to buy anything I wasn't certain would look good on me. After it arrived and discovering that I loved so much of it, I tried to venture to my local counter to see what everything else looked like and they barely had anything left!

I got Iris Print and Lavender Sky, and both blushcremes cause I wasn't exactly sure if they were permanent or not. I'm kinda glad I got them now cause I'm able to alternate them with looks. I'm also a purple freak, which is why I had to get the other shadows.

I thought about Love Bud, Spring Up, Flowerosophy, but I didn't. Spring Up looked too light for me (and I've already got a gajillion light shadows), I've never really liked the texture of lipglasses or lustreglasses, and I swore I wouldn't give in to the temptation of lustre eyeshadows! LOL. The rest of the stuff from Culturebloom weren't really my colors.
