Curling Mascara?

I recently did a bridal trial and the bride has ZERO lash length and they pretty much just stick straight out. I curled them but it's hard to do on someone whose lashes are like 1/18th of an inch long.... and get this, her mom "won't let her wear falsies" !!! huge mistake IMO... So now I am wondering if curling mascara would be a good option... does this stuff work well or at all? Any favorite brands I should check out?

lol her mom won't let her? is she too young to marry without parental permission or something? geez.

The new Maybelline Define-a-Lash is great for lengthening without getting clumpy and it keeps my lashes seperated but I don't know about curling. I've tried some curling mascaras before hoping to be able to skip the curler step but nothing has really worked for me. Good luck!!

LMAO, her mom is a bit much... Too bad for me I have to do her MU as well, the day of. AND... it's not like I used some big ol crazy lashes or something... totally natural looking and she looked super hot with them on! Oh well... It's not my fault and she will regret it when she sees he pictures but that's not my problem. I gave her my opinion and if she chooses not to follow it then oh well!

Thanks! Maybe I will try that out =)

oh!
i would suggest heating the curler with a blow drier,
also using a base will make the curl last longeeer!!! i love mac's base.

hmm... yeah and when you coat the lashes with mascara make sure to coat the lash from all sides (top and bottom), this also helps keep the curl.

as for the mascara, loreal's good.

Use MAC Prep+Prime lash after curling lashes, then use MAC Fiber Rich Mascara or MAC Zoom Lash for a falsies look. Or, sneak in a couple of partial falsies to blend in at the outer corners of her eyes. Don't use a whole strip of falsies--that is too obvious. If you do small clusters at the outer corners it looks more natural but still gives fantastic definition, especially with the curling and mascara!!

Heat the curler, and I would def def def recommend Shu Uemura's eyelash curler...it makes ur lashes 10 times more curlier. And try using Maybelline's Define A Lash, Lash Stylist, Volume Express, or Maybelline XXL
